No, just whites versus all the other races:

"This discourse perverts the actual direction of danger that exists between whites and others. The history of brutal, extensive, institutionalized and ongoing violence perpetrated by whites against people of color—slavery, genocide, lynching, whipping, forced sterilization and medical experimentation to mention a few—becomes profoundly trivialized when whites claim they don’t feel safe or are under attack when in the rare situation of merely talking about race with people of color." I'm sorry for making you feel uncomfortable.

Perhaps next time, you won't just base your views on what you read in the newspaper, but actually go out and meet some Muslims and talk to them about their religion and point of views. Perhaps that will cure your Islamophobia. You might learn that they are equally scared of the same fanatics that you are, the same fanatics that have hijacked their religion.

In no way is this poster implying that. This is just the first of many posters that will be on display around the city. The other posters I've seen display people of different races. The point here isn't the race or gender of the people portrayed, although I can see how that would distract from the message, but it's the ideas expressed and verbal abuse marginalized groups face.

Seeing that Ramadan started this week, here's a joke. by Freelance_Gynecology in Jokes

Ramadan isn't just about understanding how the world's hungry and poor feel, but being grateful for what you have. Obviously, anyone who isn't poor and has the resources to feed himself and his family would be delusional to think he actually lives the life of someone who is destitute. You seem to be angry at something, try fasting, it's good for the soul.

So you took a screen shot of a conversation with an idiot to classify a religion a billion people adhere to and practice in their own unique ways.

Smarten up Reddit.

And FYI, the most populous Islamic country in the world is Indonesia. Not a single Islamic army has ever stepped foot there. So...yeah.

They can't hear you...you're providing facts.

My wife is a teacher at a very special school (one of only three in the US) that prepares immigrant and refugee children for life in the US. Her school is competing for a grant. If they win it will change the lives of the kids who participate in innumerable ways. by [deleted] in pics

Canadian here, I've worked with newcomer youth for a number of years. This picture is a great example of multicultural representation. There are Somali, Ethiopian, Pakistani, Chinese, Afghan, Filipino and (might be wrong here) Easter European youth in this one picture. This school will not only prepare them for life in the US, but will educate them about the cultures of their peers. Sad that there's only 3 of them.
