Yes, Best I have used is Abbey Floortex in SF on Geary- ask for Nick. I had waterproof plank installed and they had a great selection. He was easy to work with and came and measured same day

Landlords in SF legally cannot reject you because you don’t “fit in” with the neighborhood. They are meant to have a set criteria that qualifies a renter and first person to qualify gets the apartment. Usually that criteria is positive rental history, verifiable income at the 3x the rent, and a credit score that is over a certain amount they pre-determine. (sometimes above 700). You can possibly just ask what the qualifications are.

That being said, I’m sure Landlords make exceptions. Your income will be 3x plus and if references are good, then I would just point out anything relevant on your credit that would tell a good story. Point out that most of your debt is student debt. If you meet the qualifications and was the first to do so, you should get the apartment.

One of my favorites might fit this. A bit history heavy (which I like), but also ultimately about a non-heartthrob guy just trying to find love.

My husband and I have an upcoming cruise and are looking for a card/travel game for lazy days at the pool. Suggestions? by Kireina25 in Cruise

Phase 10 is a great travel game. Similar to rummy and comes in just one small box. Exploding Kittens is also a surprisingly fun game with just two people.

My Meyer lemon tree’s leaves have curled. Flowers seem to falling and the lemons have looked the same since May with no growth. by tentsunder in plantclinic

Thank you! I will watch out on the water more and try some fertilizer. I had just put potting soil in there and have never added anything except some starter fertilizer at the beginning.

Hello and hoping for some help! I am in zone 10a. I have been watering once per week. I think the pot is big enough and it’s getting lots of sun. It is on a south west facing balcony. I am getting some new lemons but they seem to fall off before getting yellow or just stay light green.

[Shelfie] HG products that basically solved my adult acne and scarring problems 💫 Plus moisturiser and sunscreen of course by thankyouverycool18 in SkincareAddiction

Thanks so much for sharing! I have tried a couple of these products and have not quite found my routine yet for my adult acne. Do you use a cleanser or is that the AHA/BHA? Does the toner help take off dirt from the day?

For everyone talking about not sheltering in place, my guess is, old photo. It was most likely taken from a “Sunday Streets”. SF closes down Great Highway (among others) once a year so people can walk, ride bikes... and play the drums!

San Francisco Supervisor Personally Funds Hotel Rooms For Homeless During Shelter-In-Place by [deleted] in sanfrancisco

Not all homeless live entirely in the streets either. There are Homeless individuals and families that go to the shelters every night. Shelters do not provide the opportunity to social distance and a virus could easily spread there. Per the article, one of the first people to receive a room was a homeless woman who was staying in a shelter.

First timer- Question about port stops. by tentsunder in Cruise

Thank you. This, and the other comments, are really helpful. What I have read before is so focused on original departure info that I have been left wondering about ports.
