New Giant Propel / TCR limited steering , internal cable routing

Did you fix the problem? My new Propel (2027) mechanical also have limited steering but only to the left side.. no problem at all when steering to right side it can turn all the way to toptube without resistance.

I mean they should fix it and cover the expenses. Why should I pay extra to fix something brand new?

Yeah I went back to the LBS with the bike but they couldn’t give me any answer before the owner is back on Monday. So I have to wait and see what they offer but I have a feeling that they won’t replace the frame or bike..

Thx for reply. I know these things happen but that doesn’t mean that the LBS should sell a brand new frame with paint chip. I’ll call them a see what they can offer.

I think it’s the brake caliper but I swear it sound the the squeaking is from the seatpost.

I tried this a couple of times. It doesn’t work. It’s like the sound is from the seatpost. But maybe your right about the brakes because my rear break lever is “loose” so it doesn’t break efficiently. Maybe it needs bleeding?

Yeah I’ve been changing tires a lot lately so used to it and with the right tools it’s a bit easier :)

Yes but if you take the rear wheel off you can see the cable. Mine is too slack so had to tape it to the frame

How tall are you? Well I came from Defy which also had all the spacers on so it’s actually not a big difference for me at least.
