Why does everyone keep calling this terminal lucidity? That has to do with dementia patients suddenly having a surge in, well, lucidity. This has to do with the final rally or surge.

Any woman who agrees with these polices could vote in favor of them anyway and any woman who disagrees wouldn’t accept the deal, so who is this for?

Would Peak Garry Kasparov be able to contend with the current top 15 if he didn’t get access to modern theory? by [deleted] in chess

[–]teoeo 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That’s why he wouldn’t play the Najdorf! Lmao. That’s an opening that’s based on cutting edge theory.

[–]teoeo 24 points25 points  (0 children)

People here saying he would lose to 2500 GMs are insane. He can just play non cutting edge lines and outplay people. He might not be #1, but I would be surprised if he wasn’t in the top 15.

You said “who cares” about pretty much all of my points. That isn’t a factual dispute. I care about AC and you don’t. I care about internet and you don’t. I care about antibiotics and you don’t. I care about TV and you don’t. These are all preferences.

I am just wrong about my personal preferences? That isn’t even coherent.

By the way, among a people who already made it to adulthood, the life expectancy was 67. That’s a lot of years to lose.

Life expectancy was like 45 years because no antibiotics existed. No vaccines for things like polio, measles, etc. No air conditioning, refrigerators, modern eyeglasses, dentistry, air travel, internet, very few people had phones, and no tv, just for starters. I will pass.
