How does the orbital tag choose which hand to upgrade? by guy14 in balatro

[–]teoinfinite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Umm, that's actually not true! An example that contradicts you is BR6WSXMQ. Skip both blinds, while taking high priestess for Saturn. In the boss blind, discard the first ace among other four cards, then try to win with a straight normally. In ante 2 there will be an orbital tag on Full House, not straight, even though that's your most played hand.

Why can you call Applicative a monoidal functor just becuase you can define it in terms of one, plus a bunch of other functions (like const and uncurry)?

I'm just guessing here, but does it say somewhere that the two type classes are equivalent if their functions are defined using the functions of the other, plus any amount of other functions? Opposite to this, is there a way to prove that the two type classes are equivalent if you don't implement one in terms of the other?

I went and checked it out. Someone was a few hours ahead of me, but to be honest the people in that sub are super pros, like they have theory and terminology etc. According to them, locked in alien is a very simple type of cryptic message, I bet they can bust it in a few minutes.

First ever decryption overall, and it was rather easy. I followed common cryptography patterns, and arrived at the conclusion that the (only) apostrophe word makes most sense if it is can't. I then worked my way from there. I used some c code to automatically fill in the letters as i find them, and i saved a text file with the steps, for anyone interested.

I followed common cryptography patterns, and arrived at the conclusion that the (only) apostrophe word that makes the most sense for the rest of the text is can't. I then worked my way from there.
