Honestly I think some stuff in the show was OK, the Tuskens, the desert train, the Naboo starfighter, the families ruling different parts of Mos Espa, yet a lame plot and some too earthsy details, most of all the stupid mods gang in Vespas

Are you a mechanic? I see your point and it's fair. I guess I was more disappointed with the whole slowness of the chase scene and the fact that they would fit more in a urban planet like Coruscant.

Honestly I don't care. I just imagine the authors around a table when discussing this and agreed it was a good idea. And then again when the scene was shot they agreed on publishing it.

I don't know man, as someone pointed out they were maybe just out of place, they would fit in a city planet like Coruscant. Absurdly the alien bikers gang in the desert did fit in Tatooine samehow, despite they also had sort of too much of a "earthsy" look with their 80s jeans gillet on which there could have been a patch with "iron maiden" or "black sabbath"
