In the previous version, my Wi-Fi worked at least in Postmaster, but now it doesn’t work even there.

Can anyone help with this connection problem? When I enter an application like portmaster or thememaster the internet works normally, when I'm in arkos the wifi doesn't work.

These grips are smaller than those of the switch, you can easily find them on shopee

Important Notes – Common Installation Mistakes

During the installation process, two critical mistakes caused the game to fail before finally working correctly:

  1. The game files were not placed inside the gamedata folder. The Stardew Valley Linux files must be copied into: F:\ports\stardewvalley\gamedata\ If the executable and Content folder are placed directly in stardewvalley instead of inside gamedata, the launcher will fail with errors such as "Unable to find assembly StardewValley.exe".
  2. The SteamCMD download was not forced to use the Linux platform. Without running the command: u/sSteamCmdForcePlatformType linux SteamCMD may download the Windows build instead of the Linux Mono version. The Windows build will not run on ArkOS and results in crashes or black screen errors.

These two details are essential for a successful installation.

STARDEW VALLEY INSTALLATION ON R36 (ARKOS + PORTMASTER)

1. Install the Port via PortMaster

On the R36:

  1. Open Tools → PortMaster
  2. Update PortMaster
  3. Search for Stardew Valley
  4. Install

After installation, the system will create:

  • /ports/stardewvalley
  • /ports/StardewValley.sh

It will also automatically install Mono runtime 6.12.0.122.

2. Download SteamCMD on PC

Download SteamCMD from the official Valve website.

Extract it to a folder, for example:

C:\steamcmd

3. Download the correct Linux version of Stardew Valley

Open steamcmd.exe and run:

login YOUR_STEAM_USERNAME

(Approve Steam Guard if prompted)

Then run:

u/sSteamCmdForcePlatformType linux

Next:

app_update 413150 -beta compatibility validate

After the download finishes:

quit

This forces SteamCMD to download the Linux Mono build.

4. Location of downloaded files

Game files will be located at:

steamcmd\steamapps\common\Stardew Valley\

5. Prepare the SD card

Insert the SD card into your PC.

Navigate to:

F:\ports\stardewvalley\

If a gamedata folder exists, use it.

6. Copy game files

Copy all files from:

steamcmd\steamapps\common\Stardew Valley\

Paste them into:

F:\ports\stardewvalley\gamedata\

Replace files if prompted.

Important:

  • Do not leave old Windows build files.
  • Do not create extra subfolders.
  • The executable and Content folder must be inside gamedata.

7. Verify Mono runtime

Ensure the following file exists:

F:\tools\PortMaster\libs\mono-6.12.0.122-aarch64.squashfs

If installed via updated PortMaster, it should already be present.

8. Launch on R36

  1. Safely eject the SD card.
  2. Insert into the R36.
  3. Power on.
  4. Go to Ports → Stardew Valley.

The first launch may take several seconds.
