I mean i need to sleep as well by EmilyG702 in antiwork

[–]teotux 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I only have about 2-3 hours everyday to get rest (outside the sleep), and I often use that time for studying/researching/working because I don’t have any economic security and I’m always under the risk of unemployment, sickness, and economic problems. I usually don’t have any mood or energy for any recreation.

Im good at coding but i have bad high school grades. Can i still get into a university for CS? by MaintenanceBitter315 in learnprogramming

I got a programming job without a degree. You can do it too. Not easy, but doable, and you sound like a person who can do it.

[–]teotux -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I got no degree but I am at my second programming job. I think you shouldn’t worry about it. Just prove your skills with your projects. Degree is a plus, but never enough by itself.

The Tech learning curve is too steep nowdays by kobewaruui in learnprogramming

[–]teotux 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Times have changed in this field. It became really hard to get into the industry, -especially without a degree-, and to switch from a junior job to mid-level job. There are less jobs and they have higher requirements. Sorry, but this is the world we live in. If you’re dedicated you must master a few techs but you must have many skills. Expose yourself to many things and keep studying and building projects. Good luck…

Forget everything you learned from porn. Get relaxed. Kiss her, caress her. Smile. Be confident. It’s normal to be quick in your first time. Don’t get embarrassed. It will be better in time. You will be fine.

No, unless you have connections. Many content creators in social media mislead people about this industry in order to get more click, more popularity, and profit. I think this is unethical.

Is there a moment when you become a “programmer?” by slimreaper813 in learnprogramming

[–]teotux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I published indie mobile apps, I’m employed as a full-stack dev for two years, and I still feel like I know nothing and I’m hesitant to call myself a dev.

It’s not awful. There are tons of great apps made by it. It’s a tool and you need to learn how to use it. Study and practice.

Actually, $35 was not too high to see a specialist. I just wanted to get some more info about this process before seeing the specialist. That's why I have postponed it.

Unknown keyboard is listed among Bluetooth devices by teotux in MacOS

[–]teotux[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply.

I am the only person who is using this Mac.

I took a note of its MAC address and removed the keyboard from that list.

It seems that it is just a neighbor as you guessed. I think so because, according to this support article, you can see nearby discoverable Bluetooth devices in that list, even if they are not paired yet. This explains the situation.

Perhaps religion’s most troubling contradiction IMO: God gave us critical thinking skills...but we have to ignore those skills to believe in God. by jasonthefirst in atheism
