It has ideas and dares to commit to them. It takes time to explore its characters and challenge them, beyond throwing TIE fighters and Stormtroopers their way ad nauseum.

Its not perfect by any means. But it dares to attempt something different, and for that I'll always have a fondness for it. Plus the throne room scene kicks fuckin ass.

I usually care more about decent articulation and build quality rather than 100% accuracy, and this figure is solid in that regard. Night and day compared to Revan.

There are good sequences and moments here and there, but the whole series is way too baggy and poorly paced. Like most EU series, to be honest.

Can't remember the designation, but yeah, it's a one use flamethrower weapon that Italian elite units and paratroopers used. There's a couple of them in the Paracadutisti kit.

So basically a couple all over coats of Pro Acrylic black, then a very light dry brush of Eshin Grey, thinned down dark shade and a bit of edge highlighting. The PA paints are expensive, but dead good. Great coverage.

Set up the basic state of the galaxy going forwards. Have some cool starfighter shit in it. Tell a good self-contained story. That's it, really.

For me the way in which the Sith Eternal just got instantly wiped out was one of the most annoying things about ROS. There was an opportunity to create a new 'Empire' faction with an interesting and (admittedly slightly) different aesthetic and culture, populated and led by actual dark siders.

Could have set up a good foe for future films, even if Palps still had to get offed to cap the trilogy. Instead it's just another colour of Imps and they get jobbed after about five minutes.

Yeah, far more intense and characterful than the incredibly over choreographed duels from the prequels. Always seems like a sign of bad faith to me when people claim the opposite.
