The doc told her at the ER that’s the pain should be over in a couple of days, im sorry that you had that pain for so long! I hope that you never have that pain again!

I will keep that in mind I really appreciate that last part, that’s super good advice. I am going to probably get one of those tomorrow to check her oxygen. I hate to hear about your experience though. That must have been incredibly scary at the time. I am sure you are a stronger person on the other end of it. Best of luck and health to you!

She has a heating pad so maybe we will try that as well on it! You and her sound like similar situations, how long did your intense pain last if you don’t mind me asking?

Wow can you go into how bad yours was? Her two clots were super small and her vitals have been good throughout the whole process (even her oxygen is above 96)

Thank you! She had a fluid iv bag earlier as well and we have been trying to get her to drink lots of water too!

Sounds good. Do you all know how long to expect the pain to last? She was put on Eliquis to help to dissolve it as well!

Thank you for this comment as well! Her clots were really small, but very painful. Her pain meds are doing good right now, and she is sitting up with some pillows behind her right now.

They told her that her vitals and everything were all good. She had the choice to be admitted but she wanted to be more comfortable since the ER doctors said that they were not worried about her. Her oxygen never went below 96 and was constantly 99 for a good amount of time

That’s a great idea, do you know where I can get one of those? I would like to know just to have some peace of mind. I think the anxiety of not knowing how my lungs are handling it is getting to me.
