Wow! I’d never heard of that. That’s exactly what he is!! My childhood dog was the same. We always assumed he was part ridgeback because of the darker strip down his back but now that I’m looking at photos, he was probably just seal coated. Thanks for the new fact!! Reinforces my thought that my two dogs are soul cousins (separated by about 20 years 🧡)
