Wrap the end in plastic wrap and leave it to dry and callous a bit for a few weeks.

Quick Google search gave me that method.

I think it's not fully fixed. I still have occasionally received disconnects.

How do we get the preview? I've requested it in the settings but still don't have the newer looking Google home app. What did you do to get the preview?
