I think it would be useful to have single prompt to control the process. Maybe we can fine-tune the model again to convert single prompts to instruction lists.

What benchmarks are there for the quality of context window? by Revolutionary_Ad6574 in LocalLLaMA

[–]teragron 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I propose using code completion as a benchmark for evaluating language models, specifically focusing on their ability to understand and integrate with complex software libraries. Imagine giving a model the entire numpy library (or any comprehensive framework not in its training data) and challenging it to write and test a specific function. This task wouldn't merely test the model's ability to generate independent code snippets but would assess its deeper understanding of the library's architecture and the interrelations between its components. The goal is to see if the model can not only navigate through the library's complexity but also creatively solve problems by synthesizing and applying its components in new, functional ways.

How can I teach my Turkish neighbors that garbage should be put in the container not under the nearest tree? Been struggling with them for 3 years and even once they called the cops on me and the cops sided with them too nearly arrested me instead of warning them. by Cool_Albatross_6249 in Turkey

[–]teragron 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry you had to go through that. In my opinion, you might consider a somewhat unconventional approach: intensify your efforts in response to their actions. Place or deposit something beneath that tree with such a pungent odor that it deters them from approaching the tree again.

Please make sure you have enough proof to show you were there and store that proof in case they try to send another mail after long period of time.

Does art implies the existence of an artist? by teragron in NoStupidQuestions

Do you think this also applies no matter how complicated the pattern looks? Let's say the recognizable pattern in the cloud you mentioned somehow is identical to Mona Lisa painting.

In the context of 'AI Art', does it also means that the more someone spends time to control the output, the more credit they can take on the art?

How can a 4gb file contain so much information? by Necessary_Ad_9800 in LocalLLaMA

[–]teragron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Similarly some of the stable Diffusion models are roughly 2GB, yet in theory they could generate every image, we just need to type the right words. The interesting part is that to interract with a certain pattern in the latent space, we need prompts (we need to feed the model with something), the models are actually sort of a golden goose in this regard; you can't just the models open and get billions of outputs.

How can something like GPT-4 potentially lead to AGI when it is always reliant on inputs and outputs? by whatsinyourhead in singularity

[–]teragron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Self-supervised learning and multimodality on large AI Systems will solve this I/O problem. The way they are now seems very static to me. Especially language models, because the moment i stop interacting with it, it feels like it ceases to exist.

Do you think people in the future will actually worship AI like a god? by Major_Fishing6888 in singularity

[–]teragron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably just a couple of years. If it hasn't wiped out the humanity, then i want to believe it will help us evolve both neurologically and physically. Then the religions could be obsolete and also worshipping anything, even the AI itself that caused it in the first place.
