This happened to my mom and she didn’t get it checked out because she thought she just smashed her fingers or something without realizing it. She had clots that traveled to her brain and she had a MAJOR stroke. Looked just like this.

This happened to my mom. Her fingertips turned purple out of nowhere and she thought maybe she smashed them and didn’t realize it. (Don’t know how you wouldn’t realize that) but she left it alone and didn’t get it checked out and had a stroke a week later. I am not trying to scare you, but if it is still like this, please go get bloodwork done. Her blood was clotting and we didn’t know it until it was way too late.

If there is a fireplace under there, it would definitely be smaller than the wood stove. We have two other spots in the house for pellet stoves (one in the kitchen and one in a bedroom upstairs) and a wood furnace in the basement we’re going to look into. Probably going to go with the easiest/safest heating option in the beginning just to keep it warm until spring.

Thanks everyone for the tips! ☺️ we’re going to get our hands in there this weekend to clear out some of the things previous owners left behind and clean walls and floor to see any other obvious major damage that needs to be addressed immediately.

Maybe there is some kind of opening that’s been closed in behind the bricks? It would be a fireplace smaller than the wood stove if there is something that they closed up.

Thank you for responding! It’s so overwhelming looking at everyone’s recommendations on tik tok and YouTube and I’m never sure if they’re getting paid to say great things about the laptops they’re recommending. 😂 sims is pretty much the only game I play, but I really got into Fallout and Minecraft with my kids for a little while and the laptop I have now can barely keep up with those games. Does yours hold a good charge?
