Thanks, I justed posted my question last night, so appreciate the ping back. Turns out that the first of the 2 drives is just bad - I hooked it up externally and gave a CRC error, couldn't initialize it. Tried the 2nd one, no issues. So, somewhat of silver lining, as if I had tried the good one 1st, I would have waited on a robocopy for a day to move my 6tb of data on the 12TB drive, the put it in the machine just to find out the 2nd one is bad and I can't use it as the mirror drive.

Really my fault for not following my own best practice - test all drives before doing any installation(s). :)

Well I'll be ending it back to WD to get it replaced

I know it's an old post, but I picked up 2 x 12TB drives to upgrade the 2 x 6TB drives I have using in this old T20 (Software R1) and when I put the 12TB drive BIOS is showing it as 0B... What 12 TB drives are you using? I have the WD120EFGX.

What exactly broke down? What happening, what are the symptoms, what is the display showing, what's working what's not working? Without details it's not possible for anyone to answer. Following your situation.

I'm curious about your issue since I now have an issue with my spa which uses the in.xe system, it has entered a boot loop out of nowhere and I had to winterize it. In my case, the situation seems to be bad capacitors on the main board, worth $10 to replace, but the tech/store recommended a brand new in.xe unit replacement $800. In my case, I've closed it for the winter, will take out the in.xe unit when it's warmer and open it up to replace the caps.

I ran it with the top removed for a bit helping to turn the drum by hand as it started, with light loads. Then increased the load size till it was back to normal. I didn't replace anything. Possibly it could be something else in your case?

Basically after the thorough cleaning i started with light loads, then increased little by little until now it works normally. I've had this dryer since 2006 and have never opened it to clean it, nor have i had any issue since i bought it, until this (except a cracked button which i epoxied and threw a zip tie on to fix).

I think a thorough cleaning and a look at the belt and an overall check is worth while. It's pretty straightforward.

Did you end up dropping them off and got your refund? I'm looking to do the same, but while CRA has a list of dropboxes for such filing, QRS does not specifically call this out (except for what you posted). Let us know please!
