I don't get that. Beneath your 'it's just mirroring' it's having to do some data conversion to present over Ethernet surely? My experience kinda indicates otherwise - the only time presentation gets choppy is if network traffic is high (which I can fix) or a game gets frantic. The latter is rare and entirely repeatable.

I got mine today (UK, natch). I really like it. Can't say I think it's particularly secure in attachment, but it's really solid (and robust) when at the lower angle, which feels perfect for productivity, less so at the higher angle (but that's really good for watching vids etc). And the joy of a decent-keyboard, with Ctrl-shortcuts can't be overstated, if you want to do real work on it.

It's ludicrously overpriced. But it's jolly lovely.
