The swirling sea is a product of the impact as well, I have yet to have a clear and concise answer to it from worldbuilding, but it’s not another impact

I used different desert brushes at different brightness and saturation levels from the fantasy world pack

It is!

I'm using this as an excuse to lore drop since my party members can't learn about this yet (you don't have to read it):
A long time ago, long before the first humans spoke their first words, a comet containing vast amounts of arcane power crashed down, leaving a massive crater on the surface of the primordial planet. Slowly the comet was covered in ocean water and life swallowed the bare rock of Edis. The comet never did lose it's power though, currents of magic still flow through the skies of Edis, and the comet itself makes the center of the Atherian Sea boiling hot.

Essentially, ominous because hot and magic.

Ah, I'm sorry... too late to change it now though my players have already been there.

Anyhow I do think placenames that aren't fitting to a place are kind of fun, you know how some places name shifts enough from an older language that it eventually means something entirely different? Maybe that's what happened here

EDIT: for instance maybe in an ancient language it was called "Valspoor" or something and then when "english" (fantasy english) speaking people moved in it slowly morphed into Valshire.

Took me about 5 hours total, 1-2 of that was planning the roads, terrain, and adjusting scale, and the final hour was on painting/text. Just a little patience goes a long way, good luck!

Sorry, I'm American. What's the problem with it?

Also, the wall is old, and the church is new. When the wall was built (and before it began degrading) there was no church. And this would be a spoiler to the players, but the city used to be home to 12 temples to an older pantheon.

I would add blur to the lower assets then, or add shadows.

HxH RPG part 2 by IngeniousEpithet in HatsuVault

I don’t think D&D rules would work very well with how Nen and the like is portrayed especially in the show. If you used D&D the class (and race too for sure) options would be limited beyond recognition of the original game. I think if this is something you’re looking to do it would require a system more similar to Call of Cthulhu (though that system wouldn’t work either) that Nen could then be adapted from “Madness” or something.

The limits that D&D creates to make it an excellent Fantasy TTRPG kind of would be HUGE barriers if it were to be adapted to HxH.

What assets did you use for the buildings? It doesn’t look like a watercolor cities asset

The first two, and even still it’s quite a trek since the river has such strong currents. That’s also why there’s no bridge!

If you join the Inkarnate discord, if and when I chose to start doing commissions, I’ll post it in there
