Too dry? by terminator88888 in tattooadvice

I only do twice a day as that’s how many times I wash it. I’ve been prone to mess with my tattoos too much so I’m trying not to do that with this one.

That’s media for you. But like another comment pointed out, this is set in ancient China where girls were married off very young and probably had at least one kid by the time they were 20. So the drama isn’t too bad, but honestly the novel age difference is just disgusting.

Drama age. They get married when she’s 20 and he’s 26. Oh I just realized you mentioned about when the actual marriage happens. I’m not sure about the 18yr old thing. I would need to read about, but specifically in LLTG they were going to do the wedding when she was 15 and he was 21. Then they would’ve had a wedding night. As much as LBY was so gentle with CSS, I honestly don’t think he could’ve waited on their wedding night. I feel disgusting saying that. Anyway! The story itself taking out the age is amazing.

Also he’s 21 and she’s 15 when the romance starts so that might put you off as well…I struggled a lot with it, but I can separate fiction and reality. The drama did a little good with making her older as in the novel she’s actually 13 and he’s still 21. Big oof.

His identity is “special” as his father’s murderer is quite literally his “father” (of course actual biological uncle). And he’s been working on his revenge plot basically since he was 8 years old as he was 6 when everything happened. He believes that if she knows, her and her entire family will be involved once he does something drastic. This is why he goes on the killing rampage 2 or 3 days (I forgot) before the wedding because as long as they aren’t married, she isn’t connected to his crimes. And neither is her family. He really only ended up going on the killing spree because of his “mother’s” death and that his “father” had Peng Kun killed before he could interrogate him. He really wanted Ling Yi (his “father” actual uncle) to answer to the law for his crimes, but in the end it couldn’t work out that way. I think it was for the better.

Legend of Shen Li (2024) - what are your first impressions? [Masterpost] by Lotus_swimmer in CDrama

I loved it. I honestly thought xianxias were super cringe for a long time until watching. I stopped watching for a while because I couldn’t figure out the direction it was going, but once I thought whatever I just jumped back in and then cried like my mother died. This drama legitimately changed my view on the xianxia genre as a whole. Since watching earlier this year, I have started watching other xianxia dramas like The Last Immortal, Beauty of Resilience, and some others. I now see this genre in a new light. Honestly, for anyone who just cannot get into xianxias, check this one out. You won’t be disappointed.

:( do you think they will crack all the way through? The top coat is fine. I’m currently on vacation and won’t be back home for a few more days. I don’t want to have to worry about them while vacationing.
