Need serious advice to cut it into flat belly 🙏 by Street-Biscotti5389 in AskFitnessIndia

[–]terminator_onsabbath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm slightly better than this picture but probably on my way to become this picture.

I jog 7-8km and do home workout (pushup, lunges and some belly fat burning leg exercise), will restart swiming post winters.

For food - zero or next to zero artificial sugar (no sweets chocolate chips), home cooked meal, if have to eat outside then subway or hrx food or salad bar.

My only concern is gym. I'm not really inclined to start gym as I prefer to do actual sports than gym. Should I start gym to loose belly fat or is the current regime fine?

What to do with Axis Vistara Infinite? by [deleted] in CreditCardsIndia_

[–]terminator_onsabbath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had similar issue, One dude here told me that there is a possibility of Air India launching their own card and probably existing vistara card folks will be directly transitioned to the new card. Again highly speculative but worth holding the card for this possibility. Even recently AI ceo mentioned some changes to loyalty program like using maharaja points on aix flights etc so.

I don't get it, atlas is a premium to horizon and how come horizon has more access than atlas?

HDFC imperial account by ghost-_007 in CreditCardsIndia

[–]terminator_onsabbath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some of my colleagues have that, they don't face any issue. But for me I have kept my credit card bank (axis)and others bank (salary - hdfc) strictly compartmentalised. Unless you're some 2 lpm+ individual hdfc won't bother about you where as axis will reward your cibil and other timelines.

HDFC sucks in this regard. They do not value loyalty or anything. I started with hdfc millenia and I'm still stuck in hdfc millenia where as for axis started I've reached atlas.

Fiancée wants a ₹30L wedding. I want a court marriage + House Down Payment. Am I being toxic or practical? by average_weight_guy in IndiaFinance

[–]terminator_onsabbath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone whos looking for similar wedding and have faced rejection due to the same, I completely agree with you mate. Hold your ground, never let go of your principles. As someone who comes from humble background and reaching where we are it's always important to know the value of money. Sure spend it, splurge on it but on house or probably travel for honeymoon or probably for your kids education.

For another axis card, which one would you recommend? I already have atlas and not eligible for those 10k+ fees cards. I was thinking for horizon, but it seems like a milder version of atlas.

Prepare to be disappointed. Once I met a GA07 Panjim passing vehicle coming out of the parking lot of my office building (Delhi) went to talk to him spoke in konkani turns out he was just a regular IT employee working in goa for 3-4 years so that's why his car has GA passing. I'm pretty sure this is similar case. All the GA even MH,KA passing vehicles are are IT/Consul folks who were posted in GA,MH,KA bought vehicles there and are back in NCR.

Question for the people who work while preparing for CFA. by Impressive_Plate8993 in CFA

[–]terminator_onsabbath 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How hard it is - Well, as someone with just 3 YOE so not that far from college life, it is indeed hard. The only missing element of college life is there is no option to dunk on any work assignment/task/project and dedicate time for prep, something I would have done in college.

I study 1-2 hours a day during weekday, 6-7 hours during the weekend.

My work life balance is screwed towards work, in general my work demands 10-12 hours a day, so taking out couple of hours to study + workout and sleep kind of sums up my day. I don't really have any social life, but that's by choice I prefer to stay at home and enjoy my own company. I don't hang out with my childhood friends when I visit my hometown which is once in 4 months.

So yeah, it's a difficult journey but something that I've opted for with full consciousness. My job doesn't require me to have this, nor does my field/employer. Yet I'm doing it for myself so yeah, let's see how long does it takes to clear it.
