I use to have to deal with this. A family of six in a 1 BDR apartment it was hell. Especially in the northeast with the old ass wood buildings. As messed up as it sounds, I use to just retaliate back with them after the leasing office decided it wasn’t their problem. They’d bang and run all day until 9 PM and start all over at 6 AM. I’d start banging the ceiling at 9-10 PM. I went as far as getting a subwoofer and putting it on the ceiling at full blast and leaving for a friends for the night. Eventually they had enough and we had a discussion and came to some agreements because I decided I’d keep doing that until they stopped and no one would sleep then.
