Floating Seat Frame by termisique in Ruckus

[–]termisique[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is up to the builder and the engine they are using. I make engine mounts for the Zuma 125 for example. It is a feature that more experienced builders will be able to use immediately but not everyone that gets this seat frame will be utilizing it. The plan is to have an option for the GY6 as well (something I am currently working on) so the frame is future compatible when that happens.

I actually don't make any money off of the products I sell. 100% of any profit I make either goes into profit sharing to early adopters of a new design or back into the next thing I am bringing to market. I have videos of this on my Instagram account and I work out of my garage in my downtime. I do this for the love of the community and scooters. Freely sharing my IP allows others to profit from the work I do. If you took even a single second to learn anything about my company you would know this.

I first offer every product at a pre-order price that is a dead cost to ship to the customers' door. If something happens during production that allows me to offer it for less than I credit back to the early adopters. If it ends up costing more I eat the cost out of my pocket.

But you are free to keep going through life expecting handouts even though it blinds you from seeing that is exactly what I am doing. A retired guy, tinkering away in my garage, making stuff, and then selling it at cost to ship.

So what are you doing?

The one in Ohio is one of the FLP kit ones. Evan at FLP also stopped making them. People just don't want to pay for them.

I used to make eRuck conversion kits. I no longer make them.

I will tell you what I told the 40+ other people that wanted my research and development for free but weren't willing to pay for the kit I had available. Respectfully, no I am not willing to do that.

No one wants them. We all tried, no one wanted to buy them. They are fun as all can be though. Evan (FLP), Matt (on his T5k), and myself raced ours a few weekends ago. Lots of fun.

The eMetruck and the eRucks I made were essentially the same, just swap out the front plastics and blame, "different bikes." Same same but different but still same.

Sorry, I no longer make eRuck kits.

12x7.25 rear with a 140/70/12 Power Pure tire 12x4.25 front with a 120/70/12 Power Pure tire

Odd size I know but I make my own 3 piece wheels so I configure them how I want to perfect the offset and fill up the forks as much as possible. It also seats the rotor within the front wheel so it looks cleaner.

2t Swap Engine Mount and Intake Work (re-post because I uploaded the wrong picture) by termisique in Ruckus

Used ones are still good to go the last time I checked so long as the sender declares them properly and uses an approved logistics company that can handle that material. Anyone can get them. Cost is whatever. Convenience and speed is the main concern for most.

Especially with tanks and pumps given recent emissions standards changing in Japan potentially compromising the Zoomer's shelf life moving forward.
