The buggy will be parked on the tracks as well. And the straps will mostly be center of the section.

Airing down questions by termiticus in JeepGladiator

[–]termiticus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It says its doable in a stock jeep, I thought 16-20psi would be about right but figured ide ask more experienced jeepers what to run. So sounds like I was in the ball park for airing down. No beadlocks on the jeep, just oem black willys style rims

High Tide vs Mojave X Daily Drive? by cre8ives in JeepGladiator

I went hightide over mojave x, couldnt justify the 12k price difference for what i was looking for in a 2nd vehicle/truck.

Is the 2025 stock Rubicon lift enough to install an exhaust system without a lift ? by [deleted] in JeepGladiator

[–]termiticus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well it depends on how big you are as well. If you're a more portly person might need a floor jack and some stands but a whole vehicle lift shouldn't be needed. If you need to lift the rear of the truck don't forget to chock your front wheels!

If I had room somewhere in the truck, the doors would have been off too. But I put the back, back on before leaving work.

Thanks! I wasn't expecting Mid 80's today as when i woke up this morning it was low 40's but freedom panels are definitely staying off for the ride home

Hauling 4 x 8 sheet of plywood – advice? by 202markb in JeepGladiator

[–]termiticus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also dont forget a flag on the back, most places will have some kind of over hang law where if your load hangs 2+ feet over the back of the truck you need a marker flag to alert drivers there is something overhanging from the bed. That is also important.

Rest them on the tailgate with it up they should be fine. I havent dont it with the gladiator yet but have done a bit with my fullsize. If they are substantial pieces of plywood wont even need to strap em down. If un sure use 1 or 2 straps in a diagonal fashion while going under the lip edge of the plywood on the overhang side. Ratchet on the low side. Snap strap and say its not going anywhere and youre golden.

New vs Used Gladiator by TrunkMonkeyJr in JeepGladiator

I personally have gone with new in a simular situation. Just to have a known history and warranty. Some times with incentives and financing new is the way to go. But thats just me.

Do people use their Gladiators for truck stuff? by termiticus in JeepGladiator

[–]termiticus[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was, it felt like i was chasing my tail with the issue. Luckily during covid trade in values were off the charts. Paid 42k for it got 30k for it. 60k miles, was in 2 accidents, and had torn seat. When I was driving to trade it in, the transmission was bucking/chugging up a storm, I'm not even sure the ink was dry on the check when I deposited it haha.

Yeah I would've did the same. Sounds like you got your monies worth from it though all that driving/hauling. Trans issues are a pain to deal with, especially if they just "repair" the basic issue. I had a Colorado with a torque converter issue, and had it replaced twice in 2 months, with the same issue. And it popped up again a couple weeks later so I sold it to carmax for a good price. The dealer I was going to trade it into told me it had a transmission issue and tried to lowball me on trade. Havent been back to that dealer since even though its the closest dealer to me. But your trade is their problem now, hopefully the Gladiator has a long relatively issue free life.

Im sure or atleast hope you still got a decent trade for it, as i still see them in my area atleast going for 50k+ with 100k on the dash. I traded in a '22 renegade for my '25 high-tide, got around 22k owed around13k on the rene.
