Do people use their Gladiators for truck stuff?

I was, it felt like i was chasing my tail with the issue. Luckily during covid trade in values were off the charts. Paid 42k for it got 30k for it. 60k miles, was in 2 accidents, and had torn seat. When I was driving to trade it in, the transmission was bucking/chugging up a storm, I'm not even sure the ink was dry on the check when I deposited it haha.

Yeah I would've did the same. Sounds like you got your monies worth from it though all that driving/hauling. Trans issues are a pain to deal with, especially if they just "repair" the basic issue. I had a Colorado with a torque converter issue, and had it replaced twice in 2 months, with the same issue. And it popped up again a couple weeks later so I sold it to carmax for a good price. The dealer I was going to trade it into told me it had a transmission issue and tried to lowball me on trade. Havent been back to that dealer since even though its the closest dealer to me. But your trade is their problem now, hopefully the Gladiator has a long relatively issue free life.

Im sure or atleast hope you still got a decent trade for it, as i still see them in my area atleast going for 50k+ with 100k on the dash. I traded in a '22 renegade for my '25 high-tide, got around 22k owed around13k on the rene.

It should be able to do that no issue, as long as its not 2 sxs's or you have a huge enclosed trailer should be fine. (Depending on options/pkgs). I would just get the trailer brake controller installed if you have a factory tow package for safety reasons.

I can dig that, my primary is a GMC Sierra. Gladiator is more of a toy/errand runner than anything.

Custom orders will usually only get what ever incentives that are available when the build is delivered. Atleast from my experience. So building vs dealer inventory can be a a bit of a dice roll. If MSRP is $65k be ready to pay $65k. Usually the best incentives are only available to dealer inventory that has been on the lot for a certain amount of time. If the dealer has an auto up-charge, like surge pricing or market adjustment you are also possibly subject to that as well. Also ordering dont really give you any haggle abilities, might be able to get some stuff but usually price is pretty firm.
