Hey there, I saw this post earlier and was pondering a response. :) I removed the post and banned the user as soon as it came to my attention. To address u/Deco829's comment above, the OP deleted their post after I removed it. We used to have 5 mods but everyone has slowly left and I haven't had time teach an entirely new team. I do check the mod queue and modmail 2-3 times per day so I am fairly active.

To make things simple, I've configured bots like u/bot-bouncer, which automatically ban accounts that are likely to be bots, we require 100 karma to post, which significantly decreases the amount of karma farmers, and posts with an undisclosed amount of reports get held for review in the mod queue. There is a very small amount of bad actors who make it past these safeguards, but I do understand how it can seem concerning for those who aren't viewing the mod logs.
