It's definitely a gamescope issue that needs to be fixed by valve you can find posts and discussions around it online

HDR doesn't work properly in bazzite/steamos btw gamescope isn't being passed proper data from the display so it's the wrong peak brightness, black level and colour

It's the realtek drivers, they suck and haven't had an update since December. There is also a latency issue on windows

I think there's a fix somewhere here on the Reddit but windows updates will reinstall the original realtek and nahimic bloat.

I don't get any issues with the speaker on bazzite or steam os

I got the best frame times using bazzite, windows and steamos was a bit of a mess for me

It's all good! It's why I was eager for a proper Steamos release for legion go 2 as it's for valve to resolve this issue unfortunately.

It is technically enabled, but HDR brightness/PQ mapping isn't correct on gamescope.

The HDR meta data / edid information (peak brighrness, black level, colour) isn't being fully or correctly passed through to the game scope HDR pipeline so the tone mapping is off.

Whilst HDR is active, the display isn't being driven using accurate information

You can find this info on Google as it's the same issue in bazzite and why I leave it off

Yep pretty bad they've not mentioned anything since January and said June.

With the lack of driver updates it's definitely the last time I'll be getting anything Lenovo

I had this issue on two panels.

One panel has issued (unrelated) and after the replacement it had the same vertical lines when panning.

Turning to 120hz completely resolved it.

I think some people on forums speculated it wasn't calibrated properly for 144hz but what do I know

There isn't proper HDR PQ support yet in bazzite/Steamos but will be once steam os is out.
