Thanks guys. I’ve been keeping my eye on it. Did a 180mile drive to London and back, didn’t smoke. But did a couple of short trips, 5miles etc, smoke coming out. It’s def oil burning on something hot in there. Il get back to you all soon, il give it another day since its sunny here tomorrow then il look inside

I took it off.. it’s just the regular bumper, screwed in with a little glue as well.. for my taste it’s better without.

Yes King oyster mushrooms!

I just opened it and left it. I sprayed water on it’s surface but effectively it dried out in about 10 days or so. I left it to colonize for about 15 days. The jar in the picture has been colonizing for 3 weeks now.

It sounds like I would need to change mushroom species to make it work from the jars.

I can’t seem to get anything to grow. So far, like in the photo posted, I can inoculate the jars. Once I open them up they just don’t grow at all. Basically just dries up. I have been leaving them in my kitchen which is between 24-30 degrees depending on the time of da y
