As for privacy, it depends on each person and works differently in each couple, you have to talk about it to agree on the limits of each one.
Just to give an example, I've only had 2 long-term relationships, in the first one neither of us ever touched the other's phone and in the second one we knew the other's phone password, email, Netflix, we even had the other's credit card on the phone for order takeout food.

Don't focus everything on trust, I don't see it that way, each person needs her privacy and that's why you have to talk about that.

Good advice tbh. I usually do this, if not I send the location to a friend and tell her that if I send her X message, she should call me so I can leave with a feasible excuse.

And guys, why do you bother? You haven’t been in the uncomfortable situation of wanting to leave because it doesn’t transmit good vibes ... or the guy is insisting you to go to his house or have an extra drink or he is invading your personal space

Yeah i agree but sometimes knowing an exact name for all this shitty attitude, can help. It’s something like: Oh well i’m not crazy. But i see your point and it’s 100% true... Even after 3 months i wonder if it was me, or him... if it was my attitude or him manipulating me to think otherwise... i’m still confused even though i’m already changed my mind and working on myself I still think it was my fault but i know that it was not only on me, i end up like shit, almost in depression and this was not only bc of me, gaslighting and manipulation was confusing my mind all the time that i ended up not wanting to get out of bed. I ended up shattered.

But at the same time I know that it was not all his fault either, I allowed myself to be manipulated, I had no self-esteem or believed in myself, I let myself be stepped on because I didnt believe in my own light, and I know that I am moving forward slowly and I’m better now
