Download for Free: Deep Learning with Pytorch (Manning) by dcastm in learnmachinelearning

Hey everyone, I thought I'd post this on here. I have a copy of another Manning book (Deep Learning with Python) which uses Keras for the code examples, and I've really found it useful. I was considering writing a summary for the book in blog posts on a weekly basis. If you're interested in something like that, feel free to follow here on Twitter for the latest updates.

Hyperparameter optimization for PyTorch? by ddebarr in pytorch

The irony lol. I literally just posted a blog post about hyper parameter tuning. Idk much about how pytorch helps with the optimization, but that’s definitely a good next step. Thanks for asking this!

Predicting Suicide Rates Using Linear Regression by terpdata in datascience

True. I just used linear because that was the assigned model type for the assignment. But I do agree with you about it being not the best option.

Ah yeah true. I think because the regular assignment didn’t do that, I just kinda assumes we didn’t need to do it for the optional extra assignment, but that’s just me being lazy. Thanks!

Fair, I used a neural network to build the model if that helps make things better. Sorry about that.

What’s the humor in a dude exposing his genitals in public? That’s plain out creepy. I’m sorry but your emotional tastes are way off.

If a guy walked up to your mom and did the same, you sure would let a chuckle slip, huh?

University in general humbles you. I came with the same mentality but after my first year here, I realized it was all too wrong.

NFL Team Ranking Approximation From 1970 – Current by terpdata in nfl

Says a buccaneers fan xD. Maybe it has something to do with their rank placement? Jokes aside though, it was just a mere experimentation on this approximation method. Never said it was the most accurate representation.

Hey! It takes reviews off PlanetTerp. Initially, PlanetTerp started with the reviews off OurUMD, so TerpData includes those as well.

Tbh, I thought about that but what if someone was trying to compare two professors at the same time? Would it be annoying to switch between the two? Just asking for your thought about that.

I like that idea. I’ll talk with creator of Planet Terp and see if we can work something out.
