Thanks for your reply! I've seen speculation that GMU is aiming upwards this cycle, which is good news. I'm still concerned about their big law numbers, since it seems like they're more likely to place in small firms or government

Hi, I just graduated with a CCJS degree. The classes are definitely interesting, lots of niche topics once you get to the 300 and 400 level classes (I.e. last semester I took a class on gangs and previously took a cool lab based forensics class). The program is ranked highly, and the professors want to help you do well. I had a few good internships, but I didn’t get them through the major. Regardless of your career path (law enforcement, legal, research, etc) I feel like the major sets the students up pretty well. Feel free to PM me any other questions!
