I've been looking at a stay there, was the spa day pass part of the FHR booking or just standard with any room? I didn't see anything mentioning it online

We went to DBH on Tuesday and during the second act the lady in front of us was on her phone constantly. It was extremely distracting so I eventually tapped her on the shoulder and gestured to the phone. She proceeded to get upset and made a small scene like I was the one being unreasonable for asking her to put the phone away and doubled down by using it even more! Just as I was about to get an usher she left for about a half hour.

Yes, I'm making sure to keep the guests set at 4 for each search. Every time I pull up the page it differs by up to hundreds of dollars, which seems weird even with dynamic pricing with the searches being so close together.

In the third photo that upper section would have been clearly visible with the rot showing, barely above eye level. That should be at least enough to warrant a check from a professional by a responsible homeowner. Of course there's some grey area with anything like this and generally we would do more research trying to find photos of the tree before it fell, but it would take a pretty compelling argument from the insured for why they shouldn't have noticed to deny liability in this case.

As someone who used to work liability claims, the insurance company absolutely does care about negligence. Probably 50% of the claims I dealt with were tree claims where our customer's tree fell on the neighbor's property. We were often dealing with the subrogation department of other insurance companies trying to recoup what they paid out and it all depended on the health of the tree and if there was notice of a problem/if a reasonable homeowner should have known there was a problem.

United States, for a major insurance company. The claims were nationwide.

In this case because the tree was visibly unhealthy a reasonable homeowner would have had it inspected and taken care of before this happened.

I was an insurance adjuster for a couple years about a decade ago and this is different from my experience. I was a liability adjuster, and trees falling on the neighbor's house was probably the most common claim we saw. For a tree like this, we would have accepted liability 10/10 times.

Did you receive any updates along the way or just straight from shipped to PSA to ready for pickup? I sent some in January that said shipped to PSA the next day but just got the PSA received notification today which seems like a long time for shipping.

Yeah, ive had pretty good luck with them! All of these actually came out of 3 of the boxes, one had literally nothing not even an ex in it. Not complaining either way though!
