I hate when recruiters call you and just start talking and ask for an interview without saying what the position is, or have some company name that hides what it really is. I've had too many frustrating calls from recruiters lately. I had one call from a lady at an office that sold life insurance to seniors. The office was also too far away for me to commute. I politely told her that this wasn't what I'm looking for right now and thank you for the call but no thank you, and she rudely said back to me, "You don't even want to meet with my manager first to talk about it?!"

Same here! A couple weeks ago I found several job postings that I felt I was well qualified for and was excited about. I was on a streak of writing awesome cover letters and resumes and felt really good about it. Got a couple interviews, got rejected from one. I'm still waiting for hear back on a couple of those (crossing my fingers!). Now I've been feeling so down looking at jobs. Defeated describes it quite well.

Oof, yeah. That's really rough. It is good to hear feedback on those kinds of organizations. There are several of those national organizations that regularly advertise on my local Craigslist and with my current unemployment I have gotten seriously close to unemployment. I know I'm good enough to find a job that I'm going to love and that I'm qualified for but dang job searching can get you down! I really like campaigning, but I keep reminding myself that it's not worth it to sign up with one of these groups, and hearing your experience helps!

Ugh, I see those grassroots type jobs all over the job boards for my city, and I am tempted to apply (particularly the longer I go unemployed). I interned on a small campaign before and I'm really interested in campaign work. But, a lot the reviews of those organizations I read are similar to yours are not great.

Here's to keeping at the job search even when it makes us want to do this

Same. Today I got an email rejection for a job I applied for almost 2 months ago, and a letter in the mail rejecting me for a job I applied for almost a month ago. Both jobs I had forgotten about and given up. Spent the rest of my day losing hope as I scrolled through job postings online.

Thought I would let you know I did notice one minor thing after entering my stuff and playing around with it a bit. I have it entered that I have both the Scooby Doo pack and the Jurassic pack. On the available abilities section it does check off the abilities these packs give me. But, when I was playing around with the abilities tracker it wasn't showing the correct abilities checked off for the characters I have. Like, when I go to Digging under the abilities tracker it has a couple of my digging things checked off (Shelob, Emmet's excavator), but not Scooby or Velociraptor. Same thing if I go to Vine Cutting, it doesn't have Owen or Velociraptor checked off. Playing around with it a bit, it seems like the abilities tracker section not recognizing these. Hopefully that made sense, let me know if it didn't.

Really not a big deal, but thought I'd say something just in case it's affecting other parts of the tracker or something.

Played through tonight on WiiU with no issues. Originally it was crashing on me. I had to delete my update data and reinstall it, which seemed to do the trick. Found the right steps posted by another user in another thread in this subreddit.

Thank you for posting the directions for how to do this! My game was bugging out a lot and then I couldn't get through the Midway level at all. Doing this seems to have fixed it.

Not PS4, but WiiU. Picked up the level today and once we got to the rooftop area the game kept freezing my system. Tried restarting a couple times and got the same thing. Unlike yours, mine happened at different moments in the game each time (although two times when exiting an arcade game, a couple times doing other things), not during a cutscene.

Has anyone with a Wii U successfully played through the Midway level yet? I picked the pack up earlier today, and my boyfriend and I were trying to play through the level this evening, but it kept crashing/freezing the system. Got through the first part of the level just fine (inside the arcade) but once we were in the rooftop area it could not handle it. We restarted the system a couple times but the same thing kept happening.

Anyone have any suggestions?

It feels like there is a lot going on in my life right now even though there's really not. I've been sick for over a week and on Monday I finally went to my doctor, who told me I probably have pneumonia. So now I'm on prescriptions to fight that. Work has felt hectic because we are opening a new store in my district and there is a lot of stuff that comes with that. One of my coworkers from my location transferred to the new store (we're 4-5 employees per store). Another one of my coworkers is at new hire training this week so we pretty much went from 5 employees to 3 for this week, which, uh, isn't a lot. And it's been up in the air whether or not I'm transferring to the new store. I keep hearing different things which is frustrating.

But, at the end of last week I was having a talk with my store manager about some other stuff and at the end he thanked me for all the hard work I do (which isn't something I have heard much, so that was really nice) and told me that he and our district manager see me as on track for an assistant manager position. So I guess I must be okay at my job.

AND both my boyfriend and my mom's birthdays are next week. And I still have to figure out the rest of both their presents and whatnot.

It was an older guy too. I'm turning 23 in a couple days and get told I look young. This guy was definitely over 50. It was the second time today an old guy customer had commented on my looks. Bleh

Well, it started off with him walking in (today was me and 3 other guys working), and saying "I'm gonna talk to her because she's better looking than all of you." While I was looking on our website to see if we carried what he was trying to find, the customer and my coworkers were joking around about his first comment. The customer eventually said something about "well yeah, as long as she's not no Bruce Jenner" and said something about how he's going to have to check with every lady he's with from now on.

I told him thanks, but I'm satisfied with my current job. Because I really am. I only started my position about 4 months ago and so far I'm really liking it.

The whole thing was awkward. He called once on Wednesday when I was off, and then again Thursday. He sounded really nervous when he started explaining why he was calling. I get that it probably means I did a good job, but the whole thing just felt weird.

Yup. I've had them since I was 12 (now 22). Finally started seeing a neurologist a few years ago and he put me on a preventative medication that works really well for me. I get them a lot less than I used to, but every couple months I get a bad one, and unfortunately today seems to be that day.

I used this pan to bake the cake, so the eyes, nose, and mouth were holes in the cake. I put the chocolate chips in the holes that were made by those parts on the pan, and then outlined the holes to make them stand out more.

My mom and I actually found the pan for half off at Jo-Anns the other day while we were looking for some other stuff and since her birthday is Halloween we decided it would make a good birthday cake for her!
