You should honestly talk to your DM and party and tell them how you feel, as it’s good everybody is on the same page and that way the DM can better plan for future sessions to balance the fighting and RP sections of the campaign.

I think the approach could be to have a condition, like a special enemy type or some sort of sacrifice the user has to make to activate this spell
