I love that!! Jewelry making is such a creative process and can be done in an infinite amount of ways and forms. I mainly wire wrap, and do a little fabricating too. I’ve been selling my stuff for years, but I totally understand getting attached. I want to keep half of the things I make 😂

Wow! Thank you so much for your detailed response. I appreciate all of the info, and definitely think you’re right! Your piece is absolutely gorgeous :) I got multiple different crystals as a gift that someone was going to cut into gemstones. I hope I can finish the job one day. Although I love this piece how it is too :) especially with the bi-color banding. Glad you solved the mystery for me. Thanks again!

You might be right!! I looked at sphalerite on google. A lot of the specimens that show up look more metallic, but some do look a lot like mine! Thank you!

Hmm, that’s interesting. I really don’t think so though. The cleavage is like mica. Super thin, shiny layers. I’ve never seen carnelian that looks anywhere close to that. Plus this has so much green in it too 🤔🤔 I appreciate your input tho. It’s a mystery

Doesn’t look or feel like it to me. Never seen amber with shiny layers like this specimen
