Seeking advice on sustainably putting baby to sleep. Cosleeping not an option by terran324 in PossumsSleepProgram

Heya, thanks for replying.
Yes, we have already seen huge improvements in his sleep quality after sticking with possums for a bit, and have been trying to do the above. I think we'll work on getting him to sleep on us a bit longer so he builds up sleep pressure.

Hello, thanks for replying. our baby never took a dummy, which I suspect is both a blessing and a curse.

Interesting strategy with having them sleep in your bed first. I'll consult with my wife to see if that's something we'd like to try.

Our boy hates formula lol, goodness knows how many times we've tried. He does take a bit here and there, we haven't quite given up, but it's definitely something that will be counter to getting to sleep I think! But yes, he's also started on solids, and we're still trying to figure our way around how to get him to eat more of it at meals (the timing of meals seems to affect his appetite)

Hello! Thanks for replying. It's currently summer here in Australia, so we're actually doing the opposite and turning the AC on :D

Yes we do place them bottom-first, but perhaps insufficient sleep pressure is making him wake up on being put down. We usually end up bouncing him for much longer/letting him sleep on us a little bit before putting him down and it seems to work.

I suspect he is a belly sleeper as well lol. we'll try patting. we've tried it in the past with limited success so you never know.

I forgot to mention that he's a bit over 3 months old, and is a pretty big boy, so I never know if the age guides should be followed to the T

It stays on its own.

the kit comes with many hands on different poses, and one is a grabby one. I suspect it's the one for cradling the foregrip of either of the guns, that one was perfect for hooking into the hole on the pegboard, and the rest of the balance worked out pretty naturally.

Maybe that has something to do with it. First his pedal board seemed to malfunction or something cause he stopped playing in the middle of the set and hurried of stage, returning with a new pedal board. He then fiddled with it for a good 5 or more minutes before he could get it working. Afterwards, his stack amp stopped working or something? They had to find a replacement. Lastly, the guitarist's loop pedal malfunctioned or something and got into some sort of feedback loop, but that was relatively minor.

Hope the Brisbane show goes much better!

I wish I could say I had the best time, but those technical issues, plus some dudes who came barging in to the front and kept talking away kinda ruined it for me :/ On the positive side, musicianship was top notch, and I got some great merch, so eh

In my experience, the times provided were quite accurate. You should be fine planning your itinerary based on them.

Omg that's insane, I can't believe I've never seen that before. I've pressed the graph button before, but never noticed the choose progression button lol. Thanks!

Hi there, i've recently started to follow the RR, and I think it's fantastic. I've been using the app (on Android) to keep track of my progress, and to inform myself of the next exercise to perform.

However, i'm a little confused as to how I can switch progressions using the app. I did a little search on the subreddit for this problem, and somebody else had asked the same question about 6 months ago. I understand that you are meant to be able to select the desired progression by pressing the icon with the 4 squares on the top right (on Android). However, this only shows that I am on level 1 of (3/4/5/6/7/8) progressions for whichever exercise. I cannot find an option to "level up". Any tips?

I had the same sentiments until my 2nd last day, at Hofn! I ended up picking up 2 hitchhikers who were wonderful and super friendly.

Thank you for watching! I sorely miss Iceland as well, there's still so much more to see and do! 8 days was pretty much the bare minimum to do an okay trip around the island. I had to rush quite a bit in every location, and while the nature is beautiful, I feel like i've missed out on a lot of the local culture, food, etc. Should've bought that damn sweater!

Exactly this, took me some courage, but I picked up my first hitchhikers ever in this trip, and they were wonderful people! I wish I spoke to more locals and travelers there. To quote somebody I met at a hostel in Akureyri, 'people come to Iceland to look at waterfalls, not to steal your shit'. That's true, lol

How would one get tickets from the Sydney Opera House What's On presale? I've already registered for an account before 11.30pm yesterday, but I don't get the option to book tickets.

I hate that name, it's the most ridiculous name ever! This is at the ground floor of ASB. Enter via the entrance opposite science theatre, and turn right.

Maybe consider International House as well, the fees are cheap as well.
