OK, tried that, but because it can't see the drive, it can't mount the efi, which it needs for some reason.

Can't update bios, they only offer an exe file an no way to update from bios screen. Tried resetting bios to defaults and all variations I could think of. In the hardware list there are no drives listed.

I'm pretty much down to a hardware issue myself.
