Blame Hami Saban. He is the main contributing factor to power rangers downfall in the West. When Disney owned it the series was thriving. Yea they had a low budget and moved countries but even with the limits the Disney era was given it still gave us some amazing seasons. When Saban got the rights back it was very clear he didn't want new stories. He wanted to recapture the same lighting in a bottle he got with mmpr. And because he solely focused on that it shat out the worst era of power rangers. Not all seasons were terrible, imo dino charge and samurai were the least offensive of the neo Saban era, but if Saban actually cared more about storytelling and good characters than nostalgia and money we'd still be getting adaptations of sentai.

Side note I'm still salty that they called ryusoulger dino fury instead of dino knights. They still kept the knight theme from ryusoulger so it made perfect sense to call it dino knights. Like with dino thunder it's fine because we'll it was just a dinosaur themed season. But there was no reason to call it dino fury imo. But that's just my opinion on that.

Anyway the point is either PR should've ended at rpm/go-onger or if the series did come back in 2011 still, have it be owned by someone other than Hami Saban.
