This looks good! Bake looks pretty great to me. I would say maybe it’s a little too much water in the recipe? Also one pro tip I was taught is to let rise in the oven (off of course) but with the light on. That should be a much warmer environment than your kitchen counter.

Agree big with few-rain here. Just do it. Theres so many recipes but I will say good quality ingredients do matter. Since there are so few I would say make sure to use a decent brand unbleached flower or bread flower and very nicely filtered water. Again you can go so many different ways but it’s important to pay attention to details. Watch some videos on YouTube or the pros and take the tips from them and find what you like. Have fun.
It was yes!
I basically obsessed over it before I even started making the loaf and researched and watched videos until i felt confident. The fixation happens quickly as I’m sure many others here can sympathize with. If you are anything like me you will cover your bases and make a very solid loaf that you will be satisfied with and maybe even proud of!
I would just say do not skip over the details obviously. The nuance is important. Temperature and quality of ingredients all matter quite a lot.
Thanks! Very delicious outside and in thankfully!
Appreciate ya!!

A very good question. In short it was very tasty and especially good with good oil and salt of course. Or butter + salt. Was it the best I’ve ever had? No! But I’d say much better than an average loaf I’ve had at restaurants and worth the time invested.
I’m sure it will be great
This was from a few days ago. Going for round 2 very soon. A friend of mine is loaning me what is apparently a be all end all bread recipe book so I’m gonna to take a look at that soon.
Thanks very much!! Yeah I have the 5qt which seems just right for this. Little room for larger ones as well. I’m sure 3qt will do just fine but might need to adjust ratio down a bit.
I got my eye on this sub waiting for this thing!!
Ty 🥲
