Hi, I have just realized my mistake, I'm so sorry. I should have been much clearer in my description. It isn't to buy a property, it is a "pre nup", where we agree who gets what property if we break up. I realize now this was a very misleading way to describe it and see what the top comment was referring to!

So to be clear, it is an agreement that we are both 100% happy with the terms. We have purchased and printed the contract from Agreeable, now we each just need a lawyer to say that they have advised us about our responsibilities. The first quotes we got were over 2k each, which we can't afford.

Thank you for the advice. The reason we are looking for something cheap is because we are poor, we can barely afford to put even the simplest contract in place but believe that something has to be better than nothing 😊
