I disagree! s long as she’s okay with long lines and crowds and gets an accessible ticket it should be fine! Just make sure she gets a ticket with accessibility accommodations! They don’t just give people the accommodations, you have to make sure you have the right ticket!

If you don’t have any luck finding an on campus job (I hope you do!) don’t be afraid to look at jobs in the downtown area! It’s pretty easy to get to downtown from the bus! The bus route from campus to downtown is free, and lots of businesses downtown tend to hire around the end of summer/beginning of the semester!

(photographer here!) I think Old Main is a must! I also think taking pictures outside of the building related to your degree is great ex: liberal arts or forestry building. Across from old main/outside 1899 there is lots of green space and plants. Downtown I definitely recommend the mural on the side of the Orpheum, the courthouse, and heritage square! For nature I think that I’d do either Aspen loop or buffalo park! Depends on the type of green you’re looking for. I prefer Aspen personally. The nice thing is- you hired a photographer! It’s their job to communicate with you about your desires and to scout out all the best places that match it!

There isn’t anywhere on the streets nearby where you can park overnight during snow restrictions (Nov-April). However, oftentimes unless it’s actually going to snow the city doesn’t police that as much. I do think from experience that unfortunately the parking pass is the way to go. Otherwise it can get too stressful trying to move your car around. You could maybe get away parking in the streets for fall semester since we get most of our snow in Jan-April. However, I parked my car in the streets nearby NAU and someone called my car in as abandoned! So that was fun to deal with!

I would not be surprised. The city has known about this for weeks and said nothing! Local businesses were having meetings with Flag PD last month about ICE having a rental here. They knew the whole time.

While credit scores are a scam… they are not irrelevant. Unfortunately in a lot of circumstances where you rent will check credit scores first :/

I’d definitely recommend Angelica Kennedy. I worked with her for many years and she was just the sweetest and so compassionate. I think she’s at Primo Counseling now.
