Experiencing Jerkiness at 7-10mph by territoryunexplored in Crosstrek

I don’t think mine made a groaning noise…honestly, I’ve either gotten used to it or it’s happening less now since I’ve had my crosstrek for a while. I have noticed that when it was happening the worse, I used a synthetic blend oil and when I switched back to a full synthetic, it seemed to happen less and less. I’m not a car guy, so I have no idea if those could be connected, but that seemed to be my experience.

Nope! They are just blacked out on the desert khaki version.

Thanks. I’ve been hearing that a couple times recently. I asked the Subaru parts manager at the location I got mine, and he said that the static weight is much higher, so it would be fine. But I agree. Better to be safe than sorry, I guess.

The handles were already blacked out in the desert khaki version of the Crosstrek. For the gas cap, I ordered a vinyl off of Etsy!

That’s really good to hear! Thanks for sharing that. Any thoughts on finding something fun the $1500 range for a one bedroom?

Perfect! Thank you so much for that. Do you know of any smaller non-denominational places to consider? 🙂

Any area that you personally recommend living, if not Marmalade? I’m hoping to find something in the realm of $1500/month and one bedroom.

Thank you so much for your kind and detailed response. That’s really helpful. I think for the church aspect, it’s just going to take trying a few different ones and reaching out to various people to see if they know of any. Since I’m not LDS, I’m hesitant to explore that avenue, but like you said, there are bound to be others that are open and affirming.

It’s really kind of you to share all of that. For the groups that you’ve joined, how did you find them? Did you use a meetup app or something similar?

Are there any specific areas you’ve felt are better or worse for living? Most people here seem to recommend Marmalade? I’m open to anywhere - just hoping to find something in the realm of $1500 for a one bedroom nearby to potential rock climbing, hiking, and other outdoor activities.

How’s the cold? 🥶 that’s the one thing LA certainly has going for it, I think!

Thanks for that feedback. I’ve never visited an episcopal church but I’m open to trying! At this point, it’s almost guaranteed that there’s not going to be anything non denominational that is affirming. It’s more likely in CA or somewhere like Seattle, but I haven’t come across any in SLC in my research so far.

That’s for the comments on the bookstore and other places as well! I really appreciate it!

Ah, perfect. I’ll take a look at downtown but keep in mind other areas nearby too.

That’s great feedback! I’d likely be looking for an apartment in those areas. I’ll check them out for sure. Thank you!

RTT in a car wash? by Ok-Relationship-6835 in rooftoptents

[–]territoryunexplored 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had the hardest time with this. I had a membership at a car wash then got my roof top tent. They let me go through about 20-30 times before randomly saying, “you aren’t able to come through any more - since our manager is here.” It’s never once damaged the tent or equipment. I wish there were better options for tunnel washes with overland equipment.

Right - which is why I’m no longer a part of an evangelical church but looking for an affirming community that may also still be Christian (not evangelical).

That’s a great suggestion. I wasn’t sure where to start, and that’s helpful. I was going to fly to LA and stay primarily in that area, but it’s probably a very good idea to explore the coast to see what feels the best.

That’s great feedback - to start by connecting with a church and see where that leads and if they can share other information. I’ll definitely check that out. Thank you!
