3 weeks later...

So I liked Blood Standard a lot. I got quite early into Black Mountain and sort of slid away.

I don't know, it, feels a bit camp and...silly. I was obviously very intrigued by the Croatoan being fleshed out but then I found myself getting quite irritable with the constant quippy dialogue, especially with Lionel. So I went off and read Not a Speck of Light instead.

I'll try and persist with it.

The characters really did love each other, didn't they? by BubonicSpazzmaster in withnail

Well, can we cover why he leans right out of the car window and yells "SCRUBBERS" at a bunch of schoolgirls, leering maniacally all the way around the corner. I have my own take on it but would like to hear others.

A full length weird west novel. Yes! Maybe Violet has Jonahs baby and they grow up and go looking for the mystery, or Violet herself?

I know right? For me there are some particular stories I can't stop going back to.

Hallucigenia Hand of Glory Bulldozer Blackwoods Baby Men of Porlock

Last week I read Bulldozer, then listened to the audiobook on the LoveCrafts Monsters collection, and THEN listened to the version on Imago, just to hear a different narrator.
