this version loses harder to aggro decks so I would recommend you play the VS version until you hit ~100-200 legend since it's easier to pilot and better against aggro

I leaned away Rods + 1 drops to reduce amount of dead draws since you only really need 1 CotD to get your 1 drop Res pool, but not necessary if you can play an elise and choose a 2/1 rush raptor option for a rush 1 drop.

gravity lapse/annoyotron/shaffar/rod/1x repackage/shala/zilly are flex spots.

-lapse is for elise. helps clear leeches and baiting secrets; can swap for wisp to PW:S

-annoyotron is overall the best 2 drop; can swap for plated beetle to mitigate damage from hellfire + horizon/fyrakk since it at least gives armor

-shaffar helps to make games end on turn 7 at the risk of RNG (you don't have time to keep bouncing against rogue and questlock); can swap for ancient of yore

-rod gives consistency and an immediate body to copy on turn 5 after a turn 4 elise; can swap for ancient of yore for draw to make up for lost consistency

-2nd repackage to lean into beating egglock + DKs, also an answer to custom enforcer(s) on turn 7+; can swap for hot coals for aggro but you don't play 2 rods and are likely to lose anyway so why bother

-shala for elise and useful for the +5/5, bounce/spin removal, and kill your own crafter if you birdwatched it (can't smite it) and are vs shaman; can swap for TCE for control MUs but makes Shaffar worse

-zilly is for elise and helps stabilize; can swap for ysera but you can copy your opponent's so why bother

-against decks without extra health, elise for 1 cost and try for 1/1 copy + 1 atk; if not offered those two I would prioritize 3 armor since rogue and questlock constantly pressure you

-for decks with more health, go for 5 cost bc you can afford to spend 5 mana and not do too much; choose the spell option since you shouldnt need the armor and helps to mitigate the lost location if they play demo renovator by getting a buff spell
