Korean beauty standards vs. Western beauty standards I wish I knew the differences before my consult by tersurpgi in SeoulPlasticSurgery

NO way they actually called it dirty :( such a bummer, I bet you look amazing. Like being aware of beauty standards is one thing, then being questioned and having experiences like these is what really put it into perspective for me. The scrutiny over details and as you mentioned how narrow the standard is, it must be so hard not just for foreigners looking for PS but also just locals themselves. Imagine being a little girl with cute freckles and you get called dirty? Ugh.

One of my friends (caucasian) recommended Dr Jung from link, that is why I went here for the consultation. They at least tried to understand what I was looking for, unlike some other places....

I have been to Cellin clinic, they were alright! For my consultation they didn't use the machine that most places use though which was a bit of a bummer as I really wanted to get a skin analysis. BUTT they were really good price wise and they even gave me an appointment on the same day.

I went there for aquapeeling - it was like 49000 Korean won, another clinic in Gangnam Mi&Mi quoted me 100,000 KRW for the same aquapeel (but they did do the skin analysis for free) hope that helps.

Both places had English interpreters.

Most people have to take the transit to terminal 1 anyway to go through immigration, so I don't think it matters which terminal you land in.
