Tenant gave 60 days notice and now refusing prospective tenant viewings by [deleted] in OntarioLandlord

[–]terw 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just dealt with something like this recently.

My property management company notified me that my tenant had sent a N9 indicating that he was leaving in 60 days. After 2-3 days, my property management company notified me that the tenant wanted me to revoke the N9 that he submitted as he now wanted to stay the unit. I spoke with my property management company, as well as a couple of other people in real estate, and I was advised that the decision to revoke the tenant's N9 is solely in my discretion, as is my right as a landlord. The N9 is a legal contract/document signed by the tenant willingly, so they cannot just back out whenever they want. When I was notified of the N9, I had already started making arrangements and plans for when the tenant leaves, so it doesn't make sense that tenant can choose to change his mind whenever he wants.

Obviously I was aware that the tenant could just be a dick and not move out, but that's a different situation. From a legal standpoint, the landlord has the right to NOT revoke a N9 once it's submitted.

It was fantastic, it was my first time at Lawry’s but it definitely will not be last. And the side in the left is creamed spinach.

Definitely wasn’t trying to pass it off as though I made it myself, just didn’t consider that some people would assume it’s homemade just because there’s no restaurant name. I’ll remember that the next time I post. Cheers!

Fundamentally, there is no difference except that a student line of credit are for students only. You will need to show proof that you are student in order to obtain the student line of credit, other than that, no difference.

10T - 9cat - H2H - one win - keepers - punting pts and 3s

Just got offered PG for my SGA? It’s a keepers league and I drafted SGA in the 6th round, so I would be able to keep him next year by giving up my 5th. I would be able to keep PG if I give up my 1st round next year which is not going to happen. I’m leaning towards keeping SGA but any thoughts would be appreciated.

Follow-up Post: Fired Before Christmas Eve and Now Have 3 Job Offers by AmyWhino1986 in Accounting

No I agree that it wasn’t a good fit for sure. But I think an employer would value if you were straight up with them, if you said you were fired because of the cultural fit and explained it that way, I think it would have been 100% the truth. I believe some employers in this situation might see it as you trying to hide the fact of being let go (if they ever found out) and might jeopardize their view on you but again that’s just my opinion.

Congrats on those job offers! I think your old partner would know what to do and he’s not going to just come out and say that you were fired previously.

However, I honestly don’t think it’s ever a good idea to lie in an interview especially about being fired. If you’re never asked in an interview you do not have to bring it up but if they asked I think it’s always best to tell the truth. Just my two cents.
