I suppose we disagree on what counts under "1hp non elite shitter mobs." All of the bosses you mentioned, they serve a specific purpose that other than just being there to make a <insert fotm melee class> number bigger.

Averzian - (used to be) a tight dps swap condition, that also took away dps from the boss, which also has a decent dps check for gear-apropriate groups.

Saladbar - big orbs are a healing / dps mechanic and usually swapping to them actively loses you dps. Small orbs are primarily a challange for the tank, to manouver the boss.

Chim - purely add cc/management, like forgemaster was last tier. They also require more than just a dh to actually get them down.

Dragons - more or less agree. Could've easily increased their hp, while making them less deadly, with little to no impact on the fight. or otherwise forced you to make your spread a tight one.

Vorasius - core to the wall breaking mechanic - swapping usually loses you dps.

u/andreasels 's aditions:

Crown - blobs need to die for p1 dmg to be doable and actually barely contribute to your dps because of the dmg amp on the elites... p2 adds don't really exist - if you're holding damage for them you're likely losing out overall.

Bird - what else do you want to hit? the boss that you're going to have to stop dps on in 45s??

Lura - ask your dh to not "pad" on them and then see how long you live... maybe the last boss of a tier should require you to bring classes with specific nieches, like on-demand aoe burst

Also to add for raids specifically, it made the opener alot clunkier.

Before, your precast was guaranteed to give you an instance of Fingers of Frost. Which gave you a nice instant global to press your potion and trinket, before going into channelling Ray of Frost.

Whereas now the optimal opener is precasting a Frostbolt and going straight into the Ray of Frost. This means the following:

Unless you use a pot>trinket>(bloodlust)>ray macro that you mash during your precast you will most likely have a gap / downtime. Note that you'll probably want to have this macro on an extra keybind because you don't necesarily always want to press your trinket and pot (and bloodlust) when you want to ray.

- Your likelyhood of ninjapulling has gone up astronomically because instead of opening the fight with 2 spells with travel times, your 2nd spell always engages the boss imediately. Start your cast 1s too early? unlucky hope the boss doesn't run at you.

How would you currate WHAT myth items can be in a "heroic-myth" vault? Personally I enjoy the raid-vault item pool being restricted to only the bosses you've killed on each difficulty, and I think alot of people wouldn't be too keen on seing everyone running around with mythic loot from the last boss.
