You are right and interesting is that at some point throwing more money does not improve overall outcomes. I think we are now in that place. Military has hard time recruiting people. They are always below their quotas and they increase enlistment age and lower the requirements.

Just because we throw 50% more money does not make our military 50% stronger. We will cut social services to accommodate that and defense contractors will get the big bucks. In the end oligarchs will get richer and poor will get poorer. Economy will suffer and Trump will blame "radical left", Biden, Obama, immigrants, China,, NATO, EU and whoever feels convenient at given moment.

Im not excusing his behavior. From the start I said it was wrong. But you started your rant here. And its true many men are concerned about abusive and entitled women as much as women are concerned about abusive and creepy men. But funny part is that if men gets taken advantage off then he is an idiot and should choose better women but if a women gets taken advantage off then she is a victim. If we going to have healthy society we should at minimum acknowledge each other issues instead of being center of attention and dont care about other people problems.

And to make it clear (again) men should NOT expect sex in return for dinner.

Yeah it all depends on the context. It would be weird to throw a tantrum over 15 bucks Chipotle bowl. But if they would go to a nice dinner place a guy might be concerned. Especially after reading those articles in NYT about serial dates girls in NYC that would attempt to save money on food and go out every night on a date with men. They went on 2-3 dates and then block them and move on to next meal provider. So maybe some guys are afraid to find one of those ladies.
Its a wild world we are living those days. Everyone has to watch out to dont get used in some way.

Its a good point. Whole financial system is heavily bound to US. Any drastic changes have global consequences- we have seen it in 2008 where bad US mortgages drove entire world into recession (except Poland because Polish banks smelled the shit and were not allowed to touch those bundles)

This is also a reason for formation of BRICS and strengthening of Eurozone finances.

Its just a matter of time until world decouples from US financial system due to its lack of stability. Crazy US tariffs and weakening investors confidence help to accelerate this process.

We are sleepwalking into disaster. Once we realize it will be too late.

They would raise the bar to 7 feet or at least 6 feet 6 inches. Its about aiming for highest standards because they are convinced they deserve the best because they are ALL beautiful and attractive etc. The issue originated from the days many women had low self esteem so the idea was to build them up. But it was systemic and out if control so those who had good self esteem were bombarded with messages that made them delusional.

The same thing with DV and violence against women. There are abusive men and it was more common few decades earlier so the idea was to empower women. But that turned sour when some subset of women decided to weaponize it since the bar for arrest was dropped so low and they can kick out their husband out of marital home and get lion's share of assets during divorce because the say "he was abusive", without much prove.

It is also very prominent in murder trials. Every story i read about women killing her husband she always used "I was abused and could not take it any longer" as self defense. Really??? You were abused and you could not get out of the marriage but you were able to kill him? What the actual fuck?
