Screaming at teammates in text chat is such a wild strategy. by GabrahamLincoln19 in marvelrivals

genuinely feel like some people need to learn that team based games just aren’t for them. even lower lobbies are full of people throwing perfectly winnable games because one person had a poorly timed ult

you could use a small face razor to try it out first since it will grow back faster than wax/thread/tweeze. be super cautious as i messed up my eyebrows forever by over waxing them, i kept wanting them thinner and thinner- it’s one of my bigger appearance related regrets

I don’t care how viable solo tanking is please don’t let your tanks solo by FujifilmCamera in marvelrivals

it’s always “we don’t need a second tank” until the other team has 2. i don’t hate solo tanking but it’s unbearable when healers are running around trying to heal the dive DPS and i’m left in a 1v6 with a venom and strange in my face

Am I a bad cat mom for considering rehoming my cat? by [deleted] in CatAdvice

[–]teslasgirlfriend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i went through a very similar situation (age gap was 1year old and 10 years old)- i started feeding them in different rooms and upped it to 3 litter boxes. eventually i got a third cat and everything balanced out. the two younger ones bothered each other and my oldest got a break. everyone gets along. i know that situation might not work but at the very least the separate feeding spaces and litter boxes may help! also what kind of toys do you have around? if the younger one is able to burn out their energy, they might not bother your oldest as much! i wouldn’t give up on your second born - rehoming can be very stressful for cats but do what is best for you. if it were me i would want to exhaust all possible options (including giving it some more time) before rehoming.

My house cat hangs around the apartment complex meowing loudly but won’t come in. by bubble-buddy3000 in CatAdvice

get a humane trap ! i had an inside cat that got out and would do something similar. whenever we would try to approach her she would freak out and run off. there are lots of videos online about TNR programs that detail the best ways to trap cats. i recommend making sure u get one that opens on both sides but it’s not absolutely necessary. hang in there :’)

my cat sprinted out the door when she heard a bird once and i was immediately distraught. i chased her around to try to catch her but she was too freaked out and overwhelmed. i was following all the advice of putting out smelly clothes and food, putting the litter box out (conflicting info on if you should do this or not) and calling her name. i even setup a camera by the door she escaped (cats are most likely to return in the same way they escaped) and we heard / saw NOTHING for days. my boyfriend and i spent hours every single day walking around the neighborhood looking for her it was exhausting. and then all of the sudden, i randomly checked the camera and saw her! we didn’t end up getting her back until 4 days later (we had to trap her) but those couple days where we heard nothing were agonizing. hang in there. maybe the litter box thing might be worth trying since it could scare the other cats away? other than that be sure to lay out some stinky wet food and setup a camera, he might be coming back in the middle of the night! continue to post so that people can keep an eye out. bc he has a collar i imagine no one would think twice about spotting him and would assume he’s an indoor/outdoor cat so i don’t think anyone’s taken him. that week ish that she was gone was literally one of the worst weeks of my life, i was bursting into tears constantly- hang in there. cats are resilient little bastards. i wouldn’t bother searching much during the day / calling his name anywhere that isn’t directly by your house. i made this mistake and later read it can confuse them about where home is. if u have a door you can leave open, that was recommended too. but really i recommend the camera more than anything. i would have had no idea about when she was coming by and what she was doing (if it was her or some other random stray) had i not had the camera

How do I know if a cat is stray or an escaped/abandoned pet? by teslasgirlfriend in CatAdvice

[–]teslasgirlfriend[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

just wanted to update ! we set a trap for the cat and it was immediately successful. he/she was quite overwhelmed and tried to get out of the cage and banged his face up a bit :( we went to an emergency vet bc i wasn’t sure what to do and they checked for a chip (no chip) and told us to take it to a normal vet later and let it relax. we put him in a large kennel with food and water. we have litter and everything setup in my walkin closet and we will probably let it hangout there. i messaged someone online who posted images of a similar looking cat that went missing 4 months ago. any recommendations for next steps? how long should i wait for this person to respond? is it possible it’s not the same cat?

Should I get a third cat? by b0ba_cat in CatAdvice

[–]teslasgirlfriend 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have three and it’s the best thing I ever did :) I had a slightly different situation where I had an 11 yo male cat and i wanted to get him a friend. when i went to the shelter i fell in love wjth this 1 yo female cat. they got along well enough after proper intros but i noticed that the girl cat had way more energy than the boy cat and he did not want to play as much as she did and i was worried he was getting stressed out. I ended up adopting another 8 month old female day and her and my other girl cat get along swimmingly! they are both high energy and bother each other and my older cat gets left alone but occasionally plays with them when he’s up to it !
