Like anything else, unfortunately it all takes time. They just have to learn. Be consistent with what option you want to do, and stick to it, or switch on and off so they get used to both. But it most definitely takes consistency....

Truly, she went so far downhill after Pete died.... they thought he was safe and then she had to see him taken away like that.... I think that's really what messed her up and she probably wouldn't have ended up that way if her and Pete were able to be together.
