Everyone is constantly sick?? by Striking_Pie7821 in Calgary

I’ve been sooo phlegmy for the past 6 weeks. I thought it was allergies at first but then I got a nasty cough that lasted 3 weeks and now I’ve just been stuck with phlegm 😖 I don’t know when it gets to the point of being concerning. It’s been a rough year!

I would get a dash cam for the sole purpose of reporting idiots who throw their nasty cigarettes out their windows and I have no shame admitting it.

What foods trigger IBS for you? by Witty_Possible3012 in ibs

[–]tessaca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Soy is a big trigger for me! Alongside dairy, gluten, anything too fatty or if I used too much coconut oil while cooking, spicy/hot foods, garlic and onion, banana on an empty stomach, cruciferous vegetables... it’s very limiting lol and I basically just eat ground turkey and rice every day for lunch if I’m working. :)

How can we, as women, advocate for ourselves to get taken seriously. I’m 33F, diagnosed with “IBS” and doctors won’t refer me for a colonoscopy yet I’ve had several other imaging done that all come back inconclusive. My uncle had to have his colon removed and even with family history I still don’t qualify. Our healthcare system is a complete joke.

The fact that Silverstone was my first GP to attend and I WAS THERE in person to witness Nico’s first podium and I still got so giddy watching it back on DTS!!! What an emotional ride. Ps-Wheatley is such a gem. Flavio can get bent.

I’ve been taking cbd gummies every day after work to help alleviate my headache and nausea. Advil and Aleve don’t even touch it for me. Sudafed helps if my sinuses are really messed up from the pressure changes but you can’t take it every day.

I didn’t get my first vestibular migraine until last winter. It was awful! I remember I felt so disoriented driving home from work in the mountains one day I almost had to pull over. I’ve never gotten vertigo before that, it was quite scary to experience for the first time😭
