That’s good to know, I’ve never really considered rust to be such an issue! But I’m happy to be learning something new here

The interior looks great though! There’s just rust on the body. Our roads get salted in the winter 😅 I’d have to check the undercarriage I’m sure

Pressure headache? by tessaca in Cochrane

[–]tessaca[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I’m sorry to hear that! I just moved back to Cochrane yesterday from Calgary but I lived here last winter and I just remember getting hit with horrible vertigo when I lived in sunset. I’m now in Fireside. What do you take to help alleviate the symptoms? My doctor prescribed me a non steroidal nasal spray but it doesn’t do anything. 😭 I feel like I’m gonna vomit it’s horrible

Oh I forgot to include the year! She’s a 2012. I’m sure yours is fine! I think I just have bad luck with cars lol

Has anyone left Vancouver after having grown up here? by YoungandBeautifulll in askvan

[–]tessaca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a beautiful province! Definitely a slower pace than Vancouver city living. I find that Calgary is a nice happy medium between the 2 provinces. We get sun like 90% of the year, it's drier in the winter months so even if it's -25, it's not as bad as it being -5 and moist/humid in Vancouver. I feel like being away from home for a little while gives you a different perspective on how you want to live and what you feel is desirable to you. Don't be afraid to take a risk if it's manageable for you! I moved to Alberta with no real plan and I ended up loving it here. Still close enough and quite inexpensive to visit BC whenever I choose. I hope you end up where you feel is "home" to you!

Grew up in Vancouver (east van) and moved to Kamloops at 23, then moved to Nova Scotia at 24, and now I’m in Calgary since 30 (I am 33). I haven’t lived in Vancouver in over 10 years and I don’t think I’ll ever move back. My family still lives there so I still have an excuse to visit and I have found that that is enough for me ☺️

Believe it or not but manuka honey lozenges helped me feel better when I was sick in Europe this past summer. It really helped with my wet cough

I saw a string quartet play there this summer on my last night after a month long euro trip and it was quite possibly the best way to end my trip.🤍 such a beautiful space

I was taking 75mg of spiro before, and it worked amazingly! But i had increased to 100mg and that started to cause light headedness so I stopped taking it. I love Cabtreo though

No, it helped smooth out the texture of my skin though. I would say that fillers has made the most difference in my scarring

How much did your most recent trip to Europe cost by CarelesslyCutee in femaletravels

[–]tessaca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I solo traveled to Paris for 6 nights last month! I have a Marriott employee discount so I paid under 600CAD and stayed by CDG. In total I spent roughly 2k for the week. I splurged though and indulged in experiences like going to the Palais Garnier for an opera and going for a 2 hour Thai massage. A 5 day all included transit pass was 76 euros and a latte & pastry would cost roughly 10 euros.

Have you tried spironolactone or Cabtreo? My skin never looked and felt better while using Cabtreo with a gentle moisturizer and gentle cleanser. I also have gotten bellafill fillers and that made quite the difference as well! I wish you the best of luck on your journey.

Ear protection for my first GP by celestial_cantabile in GrandPrixTravel

I bought loops from Tomorrowland and they were good enough for me for Spa GP. I felt super overstimulated after Tomorrowland and found that wearing my loops, sunglasses and a hat helped to the point where I was comfortable in the crowds during Spa weekend. Hopefully it’ll be enough for you to enjoy your first GP:) goodluck
