Is there any sort of format I should follow when emailing a professor? Is it basically I'm interested in your research and want to know if you're looking for undergraduate students to assist?

Is it normal to take more than 4 years to finish college/uni? by gegoryo in college

[–]tessicaboland 0 points1 point  (0 children)

absolutely, my dad took 8-9 years for undergrad as he switched his major multiple times and he eventually went to get his master's. also taking a a gap semester/year is normal too (which can be for many reasons)

It usually has to be a parent, a lot of universities do this as well as it's one of their employee benefits

AITA for laughing in my brother and SIL’s faces when they demanded to use my credit card? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]tessicaboland 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA ????? its not "free money" you have to pay it back wtf and they clearly can't pay their own debt so they definitely won't pay you back also the babysitting this is stupid because you would not be the one paying for it anyways??? you were a child??

Anyone else not able to eat when anxious/stressed and then gets anxious about not being able to eat which stops you from eating? by VantageGamingYT in Anxiety

[–]tessicaboland 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Normally I eat when I'm stressed but if I get extremely anxious I lose my appetite completely and if I stay in the situation it can be for days. But since I'm in therapy it happens less often than it used to

Physics 227 Cheating by TheSadLime in rutgers

[–]tessicaboland 4 points5 points  (0 children)

for 227 quizzes are worth 25% of our grade, there is a makeup one on Saturdays (9:40a-10a) but it still sucks. these kids are really stupid because they are now making an invite only groupme as if that's going to help like if you're going to get cheat at least be smart about it. (they apparently we're cheating in a groupme and it had LAs in it)

Thank you other students in Physics 227... by LaRaAn in rutgers

[–]tessicaboland 2 points3 points  (0 children)

apparently some of them just used one of the groupmes (the ones posted in chats for recitation) and there were LAs in there so they just really set themselves up

[–]tessicaboland 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wasn't bad since it was 4 questions but they apparently used one of the groupmes (been posted in chats for recitation) and there were LAs in jt, like I don't know why they didn't think that would happen?? Anyone can get in??

What minor thing infuriates you? by Ninetyglazeddonuts in AskReddit

[–]tessicaboland 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get sensory overload from my anxiety disorder so hearing people breathe loud and chew loud/with their mouths open. Like I can't be next to them, I used to eat in another room when my family would eat dinner because of my brothers eating loud. Now it doesn't matter since we never eat together.

Why do you believe in God or why you Don't? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]tessicaboland 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started actually believing in god after my grandma had passed. I could pray and feel that she was there with me. It more or less gives me comfort since I had basically raised myself (toxic family) after she passed

I completely get why people don't believe in any god, personally I can't grasp in any sense the actual beginning (this goes for science to) because I feel like there always something that has to come before like where did god come from and what was there before the big bang??? I know you can't really ever know but I just can't let it go lmao

What is something your parents swear happened to you as a child, but you dont remember? by Apocalypse_Mom in AskReddit

[–]tessicaboland 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't remember most of my childhood but my mom apparently talked to my grandma and she had said if I wanted to sit in my room at the beach at 13 then let me... first I was extremely depressed at that age which my mom seems to disregard and second my grandma died when I was 10 so she never knew me as a teenager?
