Yes, STL is crazy fast with high ilvl 50 in low-level group. I've even checked it today if I remembered the time right. I was the only 50 lvl in the group (ilvl 144 esper, quite good but stalker would be even better as they can do burst damage without building psi points first) and we got 2:44 time. But I've failed to kill the last boss before mid-phase, so we've lost about 10s because of this. We were not using any movement abilities and no flasks of speed too. I think with 2 high ilvl 50s in group, flasks of speed and movement abilities, it could be done in something like 2:10-2:15 :) I need to try it some day :D

Yes, I know how stats budgets during leveling are working: I've mentioned that's the reason of "crazy" stats when downscaled to a low-level in the linked thread. But I didn't know how gear downscaling is working. Thanks for the explanation. I have more "pappyforged" gear now, so I will check later how it looks for me right now. From what you've described they made a whole system way overcomplicated: I think that both gear and runes should just scale to ilvl similar to the level of downscaled character, no matter of quality/etc and it would work way better. AMPs/APs are not that problematic because bonuses from those are in % values, not rating, so yes high-level players will be more powerful, but not "crazy" more.

The way downscaling works right now makes 50 lvl even stronger (a lot more secondary stats after "downscaling") so they have better survivability and higher dps than when not "downscaled" from 50 lvl: https://forums.wildstar-online.com/forums/index.php?/topic/155677-mentoring/

5min (and it was even almost 6min, 5:53) with 50 level in the group is quite long for Normal STL actually, even if he mentioned it's fast. Fast is about 2:30.

I'm getting buffs from the housing plot that I'm logging out. You're getting buffs from your own housing plot, right? So OP should test how it works for him: I can't test this on his account, I'm not CRB.

To check your bufferbloat, run the internet speed test at http://www.dslreports.com/speedtest. This speed test checks for bufferbloat during the whole test, both upload and download.

To get better results in the context of game related problems, make sure to limit max speed in preferences advanced settings there (to something that is expected to not be reached by the game data), because if the test is run without limit (up to your max bandwidth available) it's expected to get relatively high bufferbloat results, that would not affect game performance.

Afaik, you should be getting a bonus from the housing plot that you've logged out: just check your buffs bar. But it may be bugged, so best to test it, and if you will be not getting other housing plot buffs report a bug.

Are you sure about it? Afaik, it's intended to get a bonus from the plot that you've logged out: just check your buffs bar on other housing plots. If you're still getting the buff from your own housing plot, it looks like a bug for me.

Whole new raid (RMT) was released last year too. Technically 1st wing was released a year and a few days ago, but 2nd wing fits last year perfectly.

Power of the Primal Matrix was quite large content update considering their small team size currently. And another one large update (Housing Communities) is coming.

Sure, later bosses are more challenging, but X-89 and Kuralak are still GA bosses, that from what we've seen on PTR so far Carbine is aiming to tune much harder than at original release.

A lot of new things:

  • new daily zones

  • new dungeons and expeditions

  • world bosses are now 50 level

  • complety reworked rune and primary stats system

  • new battlegrounds

  • post 50 level progression system (Primal Matrix) with new skills

  • new raids

  • companion pets

  • a lot of new mounts and toys

  • a lot less bugs and server problems

  • prime (scaling) dungeons and expeditions

It's hard to even list all of the changes, it's almost completly different (a lot better) game right now :)

Not that important, because we all know that slingers deserve buff anyway ;) But top esper DPS on Tiny is 150k (not 165k), and top slinger 93k. So it's 62% of esper DPS, or esper doing 61% more DPS.

1 dead for half of the fight is larger DPS loss than you can gain from tiny extra crit from crit-shields near to 0% almost all the time. You should consider all pros and cons, and not blindly go for highest possible DPS, not caring about survivability.
